The MISSION of Youth Ballet Masters is to provide a professional, supportive and exciting competitive environment in order to strengthen technique and help support classical and contemporary dancers achieve their goals.

With ages ranging from age 6 in the Youth Division, through professionals to the age of 21 in the Senior Division. Whether a dancer hopes to win a scholarship or wants to gain more recognition within their present company, our goal is through participation at Youth Ballet Masters competition is to help these young competitors in a myriad of ways.

Maria Tikhomirova

Maria Tikhomirova was born in Moscow and was trained at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. In 2006, Ms. Tikhomirova received a PhD degree with high honors from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy as Choreographer/Master Ballet Teacher in Classical Dance, the Vaganova method, under the direction of legendary Choreographer and Professor Yuri Grigorovich.

As a Principal and First soloist Maria was touring all around the world with the Ballet Company’s (Bolshoi, Moscow Classical Ballet) and Judging Ballet competitions in Russia.

Enton Hoxha

Born in Tirane, Albania, Enton started his dance education at the National Ballet Academy in Albania. At age 15 Enton was invited by the Russia Embassy to continue his studies at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia with legendary dancers and teachers: Mikhail Lavrovsky, Leonid Jdanov, Nikolay Dorohov, Mikhail Mineev, Nikolay Tikhomirov.

Mr. Hoxha graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy with a Master's degree and danced as a Principal and First soloist with the Ballet Company's (Bolshoi, Moscow Classical Ballet, Metropolitan, State Street Ballet) and touring all around the world.



Maria and Enton have experience as dancers, choreographers, competitors and are renowned coaches. They are understand the conflicts and demands put before both judge and dancer. Because of this Youth Ballet Masters strives to insure every competitor is scored fairly on technique, artistic interpretation and musicality.

Enton and Maria’s Mission for Youth Ballet Masters is to strengthen the position of and to popularise this art, to discover and promote young ballet talents, future stars on the world’s stages, ambassadors of beauty, grace, youth and nobleness. Ballet art has the power to unite people from all social strata, to overcome language barriers and ethnic and religious differences.

Jose Carayol

Jose Carayol is an international ballet master and judge. Trained with full scholarship at the world renowned “Real Conservatorio Professional de Danza de Madrid” in his native country Spain. He then began his professional career at the Ballet Carmen Roche and Victor Ullate Ballet on their national and international tours while he was mentored by Cuban stars Orlando Salgado and Marta García. Such extensive training led him to many highly acclaimed roles with Ballet Iñaki Urlezaga, SemperOper Ballet and the world renowned Royal Opera House in London.

His career took him all over the world performing and mastering the Ballet Repetoire: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Carmen, Paquita, Cinderella, amongst many others. Mr Carayol's extensive knowledge in different ballet schools, techniques and styles and his attentive eye for detail makes him a desirable international master teacher, coach and judge. He is part of the reputable panel of judges at Youth American Grand Prix and has taught master classes around the country including YAGP Finals in NYC. With his guidance, his students have placed at the top 3 positions at YAGP finals several years and you can find them continuing their careers at the greatest ballet schools, companies or college education.

He continues his pedagogical and teaching practices education further by constantly attending seminars and teaching courses at the Royal Ballet School and American Ballet Theater. Additionally, Mr. Carayol is a fully certified and affiliated teacher of the American Ballet Theater NTC and part of their ABT® Project Plie to keep inspiring young dancers around the country and spread his love for the art of classical ballet.

Jade Hale - Christofi

Jade Hale - Christofi is British/American/Cypriot Greek and grew up in North London and began dancing aged five. He trained at the Urdang Academy London before becoming a Junior Associate of The Royal Ballet School. He joined the Royal ballet School White Lodge and graduated Upper School in 2006. For his graduation performance he danced Don Quixote and Jabula at the Royal Opera House London. As soon as he became a professional ballet Dancer he moved to France and joined National Ballet Du Rhin in 2006, Ballet Black in London 2008, NBA Ballet Japan 2011 where he became guest Principal, The National Ballet Of Ireland 2013 and English National Ballet 2014. In his Ballet career Jade has performed for the Royal Family at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. In 2012 he was asked to dance in a privet performance for Her Majesty The Queen and in 2011 danced for Michelle Obama at the Royal Opera House London.

Jade is in between London and Los Angeles to train at the Actors Studio west in Hollywood 2015. Since being in LA Jade has been working with David LaChapelle on Queen and Michael Jackson's music video "There Must Be More To Life Then This" that he was in and Co Choreographed with Sergei Polunin. He then Choreographed his own piece "Take Me To Church" by Hozier for David LaChapelle and Sergei Polunin.

2016 Jade Choreographed The Dream directed by Javiera Estrada as well as danced in the piece.In 2017 Jade Directed and Choreographed his second Dance video, Surprise Your Self starring Kyle Allen, set to be released late 2018. Also in 2018 he created his own production company that has started working on it’s first major production The Human Monastery, set to be released 2018-2019. At the same time Jade has been judging the YAGP and the World Choreography Award to help guide the world of dance into the future.


Arsen Serobian

Arsen Serobian is a graduate of the world-renowned Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. He toured internationally, performing the entire classical repertoire in several countries. Upon graduation, he moved to United States, where he has appeared as a Principal guest artist in numerous regional companies.

In 2005, Arsen was the recipient of the prestigious Lester Horton Award for Best Male Dancer. He has appeared in national commercial campaigns, the Los Angeles Opera, and can be seen dancing in numerous feature films: The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and Love Hurts.

Arsen is Artistic Director of Dance Channel TV Ballet Academy, and the founder of Dance Channel TV Inc, a viral network devoted to supporting the art of dance through educational and entertaining video content.


Leila Drake - Fossek

Leila Drake is from Santa Cruz, CA, and graduated from UC-Santa Barbara with a double major in Art History and Film Studies. Since joining State Street Ballet in 2005 she has performed in nearly every production in the company’s repertoire, including the principal roles in CarmenAn American Tango, Carmina BuranaAppalachian Spring, and Scheherazade.

Leila has been a featured soloist in works by Robert Battle, Nancy Colahan, Autumn Eckman, William Soleau, Josie Walsh, and Edgar Zendejas, appeared as a Principal Guest Artist with The Ithaca Ballet in their full-length Swan Lake, and has toured extensively both nationally and internationally.

She was the recipient of the Apogee Award for Excellence in Dance Performance for her work in Common Ground, Carmina Burana, and The Nutcracker and also received the Indy Dance Award for “Best Duet” for Arabian in The Nutcracker. Leila has been SSB’s Associate Director since 2015, retired from full-time dancing in 2017, but continues to perform with the company on a project-to-project basis.
